Happy Friday! I am very much looking forward to reading The Lace Reader. The title alone is intriguing! Congratulations on your success in the often discouraging world of publishing your first novel.

Hello Brunonia and Gary.
Congratulations on your big success in marketing The Lace Reader (Boston Globe article). Nice to see that someone can have success without going the agent route (a struggle to all of us aspiring writers). Do you plan to use the Flap Jacket Press as a venue for other NE writers to get their work reviewed and perhaps published? If so, I'd lilke to know. Sincerely, Kirian Monroe, Essex, Massachusetts.

Kirian,
That is my intention. I'd love to work with New England writers who need more exposure for their work. This would be a new business model (at least I think it would be) so it would require some flexibility and a willingness to try something new. That said, I think that there's a lot Flap Jacket and NE writers can do together. -Gary
