1001 Ways to Market Your Books
I had the opportunity to spend this morning in a seminar presented by John Kremer, the author of 1001 Ways to Market Your Books. John truly is a man with a million great ideas so I can’t begin to adequately summarize his 3 hour presentation. However, I will say that his presentation was fantastic as it was loaded with lots of real world examples that are valuable to every small press. From understanding how The New York Times bestseller list is compiled and how titles get on it (and why you might not care if you ever do) to starting your sales efforts locally and using them to slingshot your success across the country and around the globe.
The bottom line: Every author, regardless of the size and fame of their publisher, has to promote their book. Don’t count on your publisher to do that for you. To help authors do that, I highly recommend John’s classic and definitive book on the subject:1001 Ways to Market Your Books.
Click here’s for the Amazon.com page for the book.
Enjoy!
